Such individuals often require assistance with everyday personal hygiene, and medical staff actively participate in providing it.<\/p><p>By offering appropriate assistance and education, older adults can preserve their autonomy and dignity. Beyond the physical aspects, personal hygiene also contributes to emotional well-being, as people feel better and more confident when they are neat and clean.<\/p><p>Therefore, maintaining personal hygiene is crucial to the health and well-being of care-home residents. Regular handwashing, showering, and care for oral and skin hygiene help prevent infections and improve quality of life.<\/p><p>The level of sanitization and disinfection must be exceptionally high to prevent the development of infectious diseases and the spread of infection to other residents.
